General Information

This one-day in-person CFRE Refresher Course takes a new approach that asks you to apply fundraising theory, skills, and techniques within the six knowledge domains of the field, based on experience at the five-year level. This course will not be presented in a lecture format. To gain the most from the experience and to read the requirements for obtaining your CFRE, you are strongly encouraged to visit the CFRE International website (www.cfre.org) including the test content outline, Study Wizard, as well as the resource reading list. This session does not take the place of independent study and relevant experience in preparation for the exam.

Participants receive:

  • Participant manual and exam-related study resources
  • Approximately 8 hours of instruction (8 continuing education points for both Initial Certification and Recertification)
  • A certificate of completion at the end of the course
  • A head start for taking the CFRE Exam

Michelle Crim

Michelle Crim, CFRE

Michelle currently serves as President of Dynamic Development Strategies, LLC and provides interim leadership and strategic fundraising services to nonprofits in Tarrant County and surrounding areas. Her 20-year career in fundraising and nonprofit management has included roles in both higher education institutions and social service organizations. Michelle earned her CFRE credential in 2008, is a past president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Fort Worth Metro Chapter, and is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Fort Worth. She serves on numerous nonprofit boards and frequently speaks on a variety of fundraising topics, nonprofit leadership, and Down syndrome.
